Settlement Agreements and Protected Conversations – Tuesday 11th 7.45-9.30am, Putteridgebury Conference Centre, Hitchin Road, Luton

Ending the employment relationship is never easy. The Government’s introduction of new laws on settlement agreements and pre-termination discussions is to make it easier to end the employment relationship consensually (and amicably) by allowing businesses and employees to have a conversation with a view to agreeing a settlement at any time.

The Employment team would like to invite you to a workshop on Settlement Agreements and Protected Conversations. We will update you on the recent legal changes and the new ACAS Code.  The session will be interactive and we will be working through case studies using recent cases, providing practical tips and guidance on managing the termination process and when and how to make effective use of settlement agreements.

The breakfast will run from 7.45am until 9.30am to enable you to get on with the rest of your working day, but there will be extra time for those who want to learn more or just catch up with colleagues and business acquaintances over a coffee afterwards.

Reserving your place could not be simpler. Just reply to Abi Palmer at [email protected].  If any of your colleagues wish to attend, please also include their email contact details when you respond.
