About Reena
Reena is an experienced child care solicitor specialising in public law proceedings. Reena originally qualified as a barrister in 2000 and she was admitted as a solicitor in 2004.
Reena is compassionate and consistently undertakes her own advocacy providing continuity to her lay and professional clients, with a concise and child-focused approach. She represents parents, children’s guardians, competent children and intervenors.
Reena is a member of the Law Society Children Panel, Association of Lawyers of Children and the Bar Council.
Reported cases
- Reena represented the children through their Guardian in D and E (Parent with Autism) EWFC B18 (11 May 2020).
- Reena recently represented a father in a case which was reported to the Serious Case Review involving serious injury to the child with guidance being published.
- Reena successfully represented a mother dealing with complex issues surrounding a contact issues dispute spanning over six years with final orders being made in the Court of Appeal (Neutral Citation Number: [2005] EWCA Civ 862).
