If there is a TUPE transfer, your employer should inform and consult with you about it, and you are protected from being unfairly dismissed as the result of any transfer. If you are transferring to a new employer, your terms and conditions (and continuity of employment) will also be protected. If your employer fails to adhere to the TUPE Regulations, you may be able to bring a Tribunal claim for compensation.
