A diverse and enriching training experience

We offer three training contracts each year, with four six-month seats across different areas of law. This approach allows trainees to explore various fields and find the area that best suits their interests and strengths. By taking advantage of the trainee solicitor opportunities at Machins Solicitors, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of legal disciplines, preparing you for a successful future in law.

You’ll work closely with experienced partners, who will act as your training supervisors, and be paired with a mentor to provide ongoing guidance, support, and feedback throughout your journey.

Volunteering and charity work: Take part in events like gardening days at Keech Hospice, where you’ll help make a difference in the local community.

Committee involvement: Trainees are encouraged to join one of our three committees:
