Lisa qualified as a solicitor in 2024 and works in the Public Family Department based in Luton.

Prior to Machins, Lisa trained at a Legal 500 Family Law firm based in London both representing parents, grandparents and special guardians in various public law proceedings including those concerning allegations of domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health concerns, incest, neglect, physical and emotional harm.

Lisa has a particular interest in representing vulnerable parents and ensuring that they are provided with robust representation and that their needs are supported throughout proceedings.
